GENERAL GUIDELINES

During this Seminar on Embrace and Connection we'll be analyzing the different ways of embracing in Tango and how those different ways of embracing change the technique required to achieve the same movements.

We'll also be talking about INTENTION and how important our intention is, over the shape or form of our embrace.

We will come to understand that, considering what matters the most, there are no different ways of embracing, that there is always only ONE embrace. This is because, to embrace is an intention, and even though the way that intention expresses itself may shift, the intention itself is always there, always present, always unchanging.

By the end of this Seminar, we'll be able to answer the following questions:

"Why are there different shapes of embraces?"

"Do we have to pick only one way of embracing when we dance?"

"Why would we decide to change our embrace in one dance or even in one tanda?"
